Following the instructions of Melvil Dewey in his 1887 publication: Library Notes: Improved Methods and Labor-Savers for Librarians, Readers and Writers, Craycroft practiced her libraryhand handwriting while Hauenstein transformed each written letter into a type-able digital font.
