Archetypes of the Orphan

The Archetypes of the Orphan are large pencil drawings in embossed matte frames. Each depicts one of the three archetypes of the Orphan – Beguiling, Piteous, Dissident – as personified by a different orphan character.

All 9 drawings were originally on view in the exhibition The Agency of the Orphan in 2008
