Morphology of Interfacial Angles

Resist dyed cotton rope stretched across the corner of a room to draw the multiple planes of a cubic crystal system along the XYZ axis of the room’s corner. The colors of each piece are determined by the colors of a given mineral. Flourite can be almost any vibrant color on the spectrum. Andalucite is found in shades of red, brown and yellow. This piece was originally installed in the 2011 exhibition Drawn to Repeating Patterns.
