Parallel Players: Early Child Pedagogy and Black Mountain College. Radical Pedagogy as a Blueprint for Art (School) is an illustrated lecture given at After Black Mountain College: Community and Collaboration Symposium in 2015. The lecture compares the aspirations and methodologies of Black Mountain College with the intentional communities of early child pedagogy. Among those discussed are Johann Heinrich Pestallozzi, Amos Bronson Abbot, Rudolf Steiner, Francesc Ferrer i Guardia, John Dewey, AS Neil, Loris Malaguzzi, Maria Montessori and Robert Owens.
